FNLG 1000 | Students will be introduced to and gain an appreciation for connections between the First Nations language and the culture associated with peoples of that language group and their life-ways. | demonstrate the ability to understand and respond in everyday conversational situations; |
communicate in a variety of everyday situations, including community life and events; | ||
demonstrate the ability to respond to simple commands and greetings in the First Nations language using short phrases or appropriate actions; | ||
gain an appreciation for basic oral traditions and cultural protocols of the First Nations language; and | ||
