Posting/Hiring Process/Review Process
(June 23, 1014)
- All MEd course development projects will have both a developer and consultant posted
- The MEd committee will be provided with a list of qualified applicants and resumes to provide a shortlist to the Instructional Designer. The selection committee will then be comprised of an Open Learning Faculty Member, MEd committee representative and Instructional Designer. Recommendations will then go to the Director of the ID Department.
- (We may want to introduce a step here where the ID discussed course outline with MEd committee representative before planning commences - discussion of assessments and learning outcomes may be helpful)
- Once planning is in process and a blueprint is developed, this will be shared with the MEd committee so they can provide comments on the rigour of the course related to activities and assessments.
