Google quick search

To trace the origins of an image you are not sure about

1. Click on the camera icon

2. Drag the jpg image from the windows explorer file into the box or

Click on upload a file and select the image you want to upload

3. Select search

The search will come up with possible matches or visually similar photos. You can narrow the search by adding keywords into the search box at the top which has the image highlighted.


Advanced Google Search

This tool is best used to locate an image of a certain type or specific character where you do not have an image to search with. Type in the key words which describe the type of image you are looking for following the directions at the side of the drop down boxes.

Filter by usage rights to find free to modify and share images.
