CurricUNET - Revising a Course

  1. Log in using your user name and password.
  2. Using your mouse, hover over COURSES.
  3. Select Revise Course.
  4. Course Search: Use the various options to filter your results to find the course you want to revise (if you aren't finding the course, remove some of the search filters). Click OK.
  5. Next to the course that you wish to revise, click on the Copy icon (picture of two overlapping pieces of paper). If you don't see this icon next to the course it means that either a) the course is already being revised or b) you do not have authorization to revise the course.
  6. Fill in the correct information .
  7. Select the correct proposal type. Pay careful attention because selecting the incorrect proposal type will send your revision to the wrong people for approval and you will need to start all over again.
  8. Enter the rationale for the revision. Click OK.
  9. Use the Course Checklist (on the right side of your page) to navigate through each of the required form pages, making the appropriate changes filling out each section as necessary. Start by clicking "Cover."
  10. When you have fully filled out a section click Finish to "lock in" your changes. Don't worry - as long as you have not submitted your course revision you can always unlock a section if you want to make changes. As you finish sections they become green on the Course Checklist and a check mark is placed in the box beside each finished section.
  11. Click the Submit button when you have finished all sections and are ready to send your course revision for approval.

NOTE: The Submit button will not appear until all mandatory sections from the Course Checklist have been completed.
NOTE: Once you click submit you will no longer be able to edit your course unless one of the approvers sends it back to you for changes.
